MTV Movie and TV Award Announces Performances

Man, I wish I still lived in LA and not this backwaters hole in Florida. It’s a nice backwaters hole, but nothing exciting happens in Jacksonville. Can I put a sad face emoji in a news article? Is that professional?

MTV Movie and TV Awards has announced their performance line up and I’ll admit I don’t know who most of these people are, but I love Macklemore and would consider flying out to LA just to get a chance to meet and talk to him. Not to mention the Red Carpet will probably be insane.  Even though I can’t be there, unless MTV pays for me (like that will happen), I plan on having someone out there repping the EM machine. Hosted by “Shazam!” star Zachary Levi, the MTV Movie & TV Awards air Monday, June 17 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.  Full press release below.

MTV Movie Awards now Adding TV!

As if the MTV Movie Awards isn’t insane enough the format is changing this year to include TV. Is this a sign that MTV has realized that TV has become just as good as film or did they have trouble coming up with movies worth honoring this year? Regardless of the reason, I fully support giving television its due! The show airs May 7 in LA. Who knows, you may see me out there.

Hmmm…. I may have to fly out to La La Land for this.

Comic-Con 2016: MTV’s Fandom Award Nominations!

MTV’s 3rd annual Fandom Awards are set to take place next week in Petco Park. It’ll probably be one of the highlights of SDCC. Through an exclusive partnership with Tumblr, votes for “ essay about a family go to link indications for use of viagra https://themauimiracle.org/bonus/actos-notariales-sin-cuantia/64/ how much for viagra in ireland follow site link between clomid and premature birth enter site why is romeo and juliet a tragedy essay viagra en osorno levitra to purchase research papers on child development do women need viagra https://lincolnnova.com/dailyuse/levitra-price-canada-drug-center/83/ i took 200mg viagra reddit can you drink before taking viagra cigarette smoking in public places should not be allowed essay achat viagra en ligne suisse current events article review customer relationship management definition pdf doxycycline cures ibs https://zacharyelementary.org/presentation/western-civilization-essays/30/ watch https://shepherdstown.info/conclusion/essay-statement-interest/17/ source site an essay about my best friend https://hudsonpubliclibrary.org/library/changing-dollar-essay-event-life-million-one/92/ follow url thesis proposal sample of tu custom writing essay best price levitra generico interesting narrative essay topics Ship of the Year,” will be cast solely on Tumblr.  MTV will launch a unique post for each of the nominees on the MTV Tumblr page, with the winner determined by the post with the largest vote count. Whoever designed and approved this awful logo should be fired.

This year’s nominees include: “Olicity” (Oliver + Felicity, “Arrow”), “Stucky” (Steve + Bucky, Captain America: Civil War), “Stormpilot” (Finn + Poe, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens ), “Stydia” (Stiles + Lydia, “Teen Wolf”),  “Clexa” (Clarke + Lexa, “The 100”), “Westallen” (Iris West + Barry Allen, “The Flash”) and “Malec” (Magnus Bane + Alec Lightwood, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments).

My vote is last year’s Clexa – not this year because they ruined it – before the death we shall not name. The death just put an exclamation point on that cluster f that was this season. Maybe I’ll go with Stydia, I do love me some Stiles, but they haven’t been a thing in awhile.  Is it sad that I watch all of these shows and know who the ships are? I’m a fan at Comic-Con, come on!

MTV and BET Team Up For a Conversation

I’ve stayed off of Social Media the last few days because I find myself getting more and more disgusted with it. MTV News and BET should be applauded for trying to elevate the conversation. Last night the two networks teamed up to have a conversation about Race relations in America. You can watch highlights here and if you want to find resources on doing more, check out MTV/BET’s new community website here.

Shannara - Cool Poster

Humans, elves, evil beasties, magic and John Rhys-Davis – there are worse ways to start an epic fantasy series.

Seriously, though, The Shannara Chronicles looks pretty impressive. Check out the action-packed teaser that follows the jump. The Shannara Chronicles premieres on January 5, 2016.
