Silent Hill series gets New release dates

In November 2011, I had posted an article about the release dates from three upcoming titles in the Silent Hill series. Those titles were: Silent Hill: Downpour, Silent Hill: HD collection, and Silent Hill: Book of Memories. Well now according to Konami, those games have received new release dates and will be available later on in the month. Those release dates are:

Gearbox Software releases Borderlands 2 launch date trailer

Gearbox Software has fairly recently released their launch date trailer for the much anticipated video game, Borderlands 2. This particular trailer reveals more of the gameplay and gives the viewer a better idea of what the world of Pandora will be like this time around. Check it out below:

Borderlands 2 is now available for pre-order at http://www.borderlands2.com/preorder/ and will be released on September 18th, 2012 in the U.S and September 21st, 2012 internationally

Young Justice Video Game Coming!

I love the Young Justice series, I just never know when it’s on.  Little Orbit, a worldwide game publisher, announced today that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the Young Justice: Legacy video game set to ship in early 2013 for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Nintendo’s Wii(TM) system, and the Nintendo DS(TM) hand held system.  New episodes of the Warner Bros. Animation series Young Justice will air beginning Saturday, March 3, at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network as part of DC Nation, the network’s brand-new one-hour block of exclusive kids’ television programming and shorts based on DC Comics characters.  In Young Justice, teenage heroes Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis are tasked by the Justice League to act as their covert operations team. Armed with superior skills, weaponry and powers, the team must do battle against a wide array of villains from the DC Universe while trying to prove to themselves, and to their superhero mentors, that they too have what it takes to be a hero. Their journey is further complicated when they face the many unpredictable obstacles that arise in their path from inexperience and youth. I hope it’s good, there’s not enough super hero games out there.

Konami releases details for FIRST Neverdead downloadable content

Marvel Avengers MMO is Coming to Facebook? Huh?!

This week Disney Interactive unveiled the details of their upcoming Marvel Avengers Alliance Facebook Game.  Marvel: Avengers Alliance provides a combat role playing game experience with dozens of familiar Marvel superheroes and villains to be collected, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Wolverine, Hawkeye, Black Widow and many more. Once a hero is added to the Avengers team, players can begin training them to unlock unique abilities and attacks, as well as using “ISO-8″ to further customize each character’s stats. Players will also be able to face-off against each other, challenging their social graph in super-powered asynchronous PvP battles. Marvel: Avengers Alliance takes place in the wake of a galaxy-wide disaster, known as “the Pulse,” exposing Manhattan to attack from Marvel’s most formidable villains.

Players are recruited as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., the secret espionage and peace-keeping organization of the Marvel Universe, to assemble and lead teams of superheroes with a mission to keep New York City safe from the clutches of villains.  Marvel: Avengers Alliance will be live on Facebook in Q1 of this year. Konami Unites Metal Gear Solid Fans Worldwide with Interactive Website
