After a disappointing start to season 3, I’m looking forward to next week’s The Fosters Father’s Day episode. Stef and Lena plan a special brunch for all the positive male influences in their kids’ lives. Callie (Maia Mitchell) invites Robert (Kerr Smith) to the festivities, while Jude (Hayden Byerly) reaches out to Donald. I always found Callie’s insistence that Donald is her father last season sort of weird. Considering Donald is responsible for killing her mother and the reason she and Jude ended up spending 6 years in hell, I always found it odd that she would so easily forgive him. I’m glad to see that they are going to address this issue next week. It’ll also be interesting to see how Robert reacts – considering, again Donald is responsible for killing the “love of his life.” Here is a sneak peak at next week’s episode.
