Zed considers himself to be a funny guy, and there's plenty of room for humor in the fish-out-of-water situation in which Cara finds herself. Plus, both Richard and Kahlan have had more than a few humorous moments themselves. Add to that the fact that there is a certain amount of humor in the books, and I don't see Seeker going all Galactica on us any time soon. So, hang in there. I think it'll be worth your time.
