The nominations for the 7th Annual Rondo Awards have been announced and the Supernatural 4th season episode ‘In the Beginning’ has been nominated in the category of ‘Best Television Presentation’.
‘In the Beginning is up against some stiff competition such as ‘Battlestar Galactica’s ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?’, Lost’s ‘There’s No Place Like Home, Parts 1 and 2,’ and DOCTOR WHO, ‘Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead,’ to name a few of the nominees.
What is the Rondo Awards you ask? Well according to the website they are Awards nominated by fans, for fans. Every Rondo nominee listed on the Rondo website is being recognized for a significant achievement in the genre — great filmmaking, strong writing, significant scholarship or just plain fun.
The Supernatural season 4 episode ‘In the Beginning’ was written by Jeremy Carver and directed by Steve Boyum centers around Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) being sent back in time by the angel Castiel (Misha Collins) to meet his and brother Sam Winchester’s (Jared Padalecki) parents John Winchester (Matthew Cohen) and Mary Campbell Winchester(Amy Gumenick) before they are married. Dean’s journey back in time also leads him to some startling revelations about his family history and their connect to world of hunters of the supernatural. This journey also sets in motion something terrifying that will have a profound affect the life of his younger brother Sam and Dean’s own life as well.

Jensen & Jared are so HOT……..sigh………I watch Supernatural for them.
I absolutely cannot wait until the Supernatural return. I can’t get over how sporadic new episodes are now.
