TELEVISION: Chuck Gets Picked Up; Cold Case Still on Bubble!

Chuck fans can breathe a little more easily tonight. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the spy spoof/action dramedy has been picked up for a third season – which means that we’ll find out what other cool stuff the geekiest spy on TV has picked up from the new, modified Intersect. NBC will release their fall schedule on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, CBS bubble show Cold Case is apparently close to getting picked up for a seventh season – something that could mean curtains for Without a Trace. Both shows are expensive to produce, so it appears that only one of them will be picked up which means Without a Trace could go into that cold night. CBS will reveal their fall schedule on Wednesday.

  1. Poor Cold Case, it's one of those comfort shows that I like when I manage to catch it. The problem is, it's on that Sunday 9pm death slot where it almost never starts on time due to Football and other CBS Sports and it's almost impossible to DVR because again it starts anywhere from 5 to 50 minutes late.
