A trio of new ongoing titles lead VIZ Media’s digital manga releases: Cheeky Angel – a tale of a nine-year old martial artist and his genie; Eureka Seven – a 14-year old aerial hover-boarder falls for Eureka, a girl who literally falls out of the sky (in an LFO); Flower of the Deep Sleep – Yuuki can dream the future, but can affect it.
Single-volume releases that sound particularly cool include: Honey Blood (Tale Zero), a prequel to Honey Blood that tells the origin of Hinata and Junya’s love, and Glass Wings – an anthology of poignant short stories.
VIZ also continues its series of Digital Manga Bundles featuring collections of such titles as Bleach (Vols. 22-48), Naruto (Vols. 17-27), One Piece (Vols. 12-23), Shaman King (Vols. 16-32) and Yu-Gi-Oh! (Vols. 1-7). Also included in May are updates for fifteen other ongoing series.
VIZ Media will be releasing the popular YU-GI-OH manga series in the 3-in-1 omnibus format that it first used with Neon Genesis Evangelion.
YU-GI-OH tells the story of tenth-grader Yugi, who has a gift for games – he’s cracked the Millennium Puzzle, an Egyptian artifact containing the spirit of a master gambler from the age of the pharaohs and become Yu-Gi-Oh, the King of Games – challenging evildoers to The Shadow Games.
Beginning February 3rd, the YU-GI-OH 3-in-1 Omnibus series will collect the entire 38-part manga over the course of 13 volumes. For details, follow the jump.
