ABC has announced its Winter 2016 premiere dates for new shows like Of Prophets & Kings (above) and The Catch as well as returning favorites like Marvel’s Agent Carter, The Bachelor and Galavant – along with series descriptions.

Also announced, return dates for current series like Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the TGIT lineup and Nashville. Follow the jump for details.

X-Files, Lucifer, Second Chance Lead FOX’s Winter 2016 Premieres!

THE X FILES:  The next mind-bending chapter of THE X-FILES debuts with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, Jan. 24 (10:00-11:00 PM ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT), following the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, and continuing with its time period premiere on Monday, Jan. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). The thrilling, six-episode event series, helmed by creator/executive producer Chris Carter and starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as FBI Agents FOX MULDER and DANA SCULLY, marks the momentous return of the Emmy Award- and Golden Globe-winning pop culture phenomenon, which remains one of the longest-running sci-fi series in network television history. ©2015 Fox Broadcasting Co. Agents Mulder and Scully will be joined by Lucifer (following The X-Files on January 25) – based on the character from DC comics’ Sandmangraphic novels and solo series, and Second Chance (January 13) – about a discgraced sheriff who is resurrected as a younger version of himself.

Other new series include Seth MacFarlane’s animated comedy Bordertown and live-action comedy Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life.

Sleepy Hollow shifts to Fridays in February, while Gotham: Rise of the Villains returns to its regular slot in the same month. Rosewood and Empire return, in their familiar timeslots, in March. The final season of American Idol returns with a two-night premiere in January. For details, follow the jump.
