2020 man, it’s a terrible year. But I do have one thing to look forward to and that’s my visit to Universal Orlando on December 5 and 6th. I’m doing the really cool Orlando Informer Meetup Event which is a paid VIP event that gives you the full run of Universal Orlando after hours and includes free food and drink with almost no crowds. Why am I mentioning this? It’s because The Bourne Stuntacular, based on Universal Pictures’ blockbuster Bourne film franchise, will grand open on June 30, 2020, so presumably, it’ll be open when I visit in December.
See what I did with that headline? I’m a genius. It’s August so that means we’re due a bunch of announcements regarding Universal Studio’s annual Halloween Horror Nights festivities and houses. It’s one of the park’s biggest events of the year and they usually go all out. Their first announcement, at least that I’ve seen, is US is getting it’s own House. I lie, I believe I saw an announcement a few months back that Stranger Things and Ghostbusters is also getting houses this year. I’m not a huge fan of haunted houses because I’m a little scardy cat, but Universal Studios pulls out all the stops for this annual October event. Official press release is below.
Today, Universal Studios announced a brand new theme park is coming to Orlando in 2022. The announcement was about as bland as an announcement like this could be and there were no details. For the life of me can’t think of any Universal Studios Properties that could even make up a park like this. With that said, Universal Orlando is one of my favorite theme parks in the world and I will always prefer it over Disney World. I’m hopeful this park will be big, expansive and exciting. The official press release is below.
So, hello, my name is Michelle, I got suckered into buying a Disney Timeshare that I can’t use. Hi Michelle. Ok, so my Orlando Timeshare isn’t through Disney. My timeshare is beautiful but there were so many hidden gotchas with that deal, that I’m still salty. So I’ll hopefully be in Orlando in January hanging with the Mousehouse. If you don’t have a timeshare.
The folks at Disney Parks want to remind you that they are there, ready to rock and make your next Disney Holiday cheap and fun. Just in time for gift-giving season they just announced several new travel perks. If one of you wants to gift me an entire Disney Vacation, I wouldn’t say no.
