Michelle Interviews the Men of Chuck, which is back tonight!

Someday I may have to make my emails to Sheldon public, I haven’t talked much about Chuck this season because, frankly, I hated the first 1/2 but around episode 8 it started becoming the show that I used to like a lot and the last few eps before it’s recent break have been pretty awesome. I spoke with the Producer and he promises these next batch of episodes will bring the fun back, so I’m looking forward to tonight’s return.  I recently met with the Men of Chuck, Adam Baldwin, Zarchary Levi and Joshua Gomez, the boys seemed to have a lot of fun with each other. I did ask the question, “Why was Chuck such a dick for most of the season?” Of course I phrased it kindly – it’s the first question on PT 2. Check out the video interview –

Television: CW Network Shares Stills From the 100th Episode of Supernatural

I might be mistaken, but I think that the CW Network/Warner Bros might be just a tad bit excited about the airing of hit series Supernatural’s 100th episode tonight (4.15.10) at 9PM EST. Ok so they might be a lot excited about it and with good reason too!

Supernatural, which stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Winchester — two monster hunting, ghost vanquishing, demon fighting brothers who roam the back roads USA back roads with a trunk load of weapons in the black ’67 Chevy Impala — has, with the help of its loyal viewing audience and fans, continued to defeat the dreaded ratings monster for 5 straight seasons and 100 episodes.

TELEVISION: American Idol Recap (04.14.10)

It’s a big night on IDOL.  TWO, yes, TWO are going home thanks to last week’s judges’ “SAVE” of Michael Lynche.  My IDOL senses tell me it’s Andrew Garcia and Aaron Kelly.  Both had weak performances last night, but my senses have been off this season.  Sigh.  Speaking of performances, IDOL mentor and runner up Adam Lambert will be performing “Whataya Want From Me” tonight.  This should be a good.  Not an Adam fan, but I love this song.  There is also a performances from former IDOL finalist Brooke White and former underwear model turned singer Justin Gaston.    So much to do, so little time, so unless you want to know what happened, STOP READING NOW.

TELEVISION: American Idol Recap (04.13.10)

It’s another week of IDOL fun and tonight Elvis is king!!!  Presley’s songs are the theme this week.  Also tonight, the IDOLS will be working with “mentor” Adam Lambert.  Don’t get me started on this choice.  I have griped to everyone who would listen.  Ugh!  Only on reality television is the loser of a reality show considered a mentor of THAT reality show.  In any case, I don’t know what the heck Glambert has to do with Elvis, but I guess they were/are both showmen.  And the pressure to perform is on this week. Two contestants will be going home this week thanks to last week’s “Save” by the judges of Michael Lynche.  Time to get rockin…

Who is in NY tonight and the rest of the week? Doctor Who, that’s who! Two Chances to Meet and Greet!

The new Doctor Who – Matt Smith (The Doctor) and his lovely companion Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) will be unveiling their new Who tonight at the Paley Center in New York at 6:30 pm. The launch kicks off on April 12, with a Paley Center for Media and BAFTA East Coast member screening and discussion moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s senior writer Clark Collis.  On April 14, fans can join Matt, Karen and Steven at the Village East Cinema for the official premiere screening followed immediately by a Q&A moderated by USA Today’s pop culture columnist Whitney Matheson, author of the Pop Candy blog.  So that’s two chances to catch the Who crew while they make a rare appearance here in the states.  BBC America is talking about setting up a conference call later this week, so I’ll bring you that if it happens. At first I hated this cast, but after watching all the trailers and seeing the first episode, I’m fully down with this.

Television: Advance Review of Supernatural 100th Episode, S5.18 Point of No Return

In a continuation of the party celebrating the milestone 100th episode of the hit CW Network series, Supernatural, the good folks at Warner Brothers have sent out a little party treat to some of us journalist types: an advanced look at the S5.18 Point of No Return.

As we saw back in last week’s episode, S5.17 99 Problems, a totally frustrated and mentally and emotionally exhausted Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) has begun to think the only way to stop Lucifer and save the planet is to say yes and become Michael’s vessel. Which in turn has his brother, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) deeply worried and looking for a means to keep Dean from making that decision and all of this is widening the rift between the two of them. In my opinion the reason the rift between them is widening is because Dean doesn’t care about what’s going on anymore or about the consequences of saying yes to Michael and he is leaving Sam feeling like he has no back up in his own battle to stay strong against Lucifer.

In the pivotal 100th episode, S5.18 Point of No Return directed by Phil Sgriccia and written by Jeremy Carver, the Winchester brothers find out that unbeknownst to any of them, the angels have been coming up with a shocking and horrifying “Plan B” to bring about the final days of the apocalypse. Together with Castiel (Misha Collins) and Bobby (guest star Jim Beaver) Sam and Dean put aside the widening rift between them, as much as they can, and prepare to take on Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) in a desperate attempt to prevent the beginning of the end on Earth. The episode also sees the return from the dead (in true Winchester fashion) of Dean and Sam’s half brother Adam Milligan (Jake Abel).

Without giving too many spoilers away, here’s what I have to say about the 100th episode of Supernatural.
