TELEVISION: American Idol Recap (04.28.10)

It’s another elimination night.  33 million votes were cast last night and another IDOL hopeful is about to go home!  Who will it be?  I predicted Big Mike is going.  But we shall see.  Shania Twain was the mentor last night and tonight it’s pure country with Rascal Flatts and Lady Antebellum performing.  Shakira performing too!  Not sure how that fits into the country theme.  In any case, it’s time to get on with the show, so all of you who haven’t seen the show should stop reading now.

TELEVISION: American Idol Recap (04.27.10)

It’s country night on IDOL!  More specifically, it’s Shania Twain night.  The Top 6 will take on the country diva’s greatest hits.  When I looked on iTunes I was surprised to see that Twain had more than 50 songs!!!  She should be a good mentor for the IDOL crew.  If there is one night that Aaron Kelly should shine, tonight is it.  Country is his genre, but stranger things have happened, right?  Okay, enough chit chat.  Time for some tunes…after the jump!

Jackie Earle Haley talks to Michelle and the Gags Gang about Human Target, Nightmare on Elm Street and more!

Hey boys and girls, I had the chance to sit down and have a quick talk with Jackie Earle Haley. The talk was primarily for Human Target, but I got in a couple of questions about Nightmare on Elm Street as well. Check out this 9 minute interview and if you notice he kept staring in my direction – just like Jerry Bruckheimer who was fascinated with me. I think I’m getting closer to my dream scenario of one of these people seeing me and go, “You are so unique, I must have you in my next Movie!” Or be like the Entertainment Reporter who interviewed and then married Kevin Smith. I’ll admit I didn’t watch the show that much, but I did catch the last few episodes and the finale was pretty awesome, so I hope Fox renews it.

Michelle Interviews the Men of Chuck, which is back tonight!

Someday I may have to make my emails to Sheldon public, I haven’t talked much about Chuck this season because, frankly, I hated the first 1/2 but around episode 8 it started becoming the show that I used to like a lot and the last few eps before it’s recent break have been pretty awesome. I spoke with the Producer and he promises these next batch of episodes will bring the fun back, so I’m looking forward to tonight’s return.  I recently met with the Men of Chuck, Adam Baldwin, Zarchary Levi and Joshua Gomez, the boys seemed to have a lot of fun with each other. I did ask the question, “Why was Chuck such a dick for most of the season?” Of course I phrased it kindly – it’s the first question on PT 2. Check out the video interview –

Television: CW Network Shares Stills From the 100th Episode of Supernatural

SUPERNATURAL

I might be mistaken, but I think that the CW Network/Warner Bros might be just a tad bit excited about the airing of hit series Supernatural’s 100th episode tonight (4.15.10) at 9PM EST. Ok so they might be a lot excited about it and with good reason too!

Supernatural, which stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Winchester — two monster hunting, ghost vanquishing, demon fighting brothers who roam the back roads USA back roads with a trunk load of weapons in the black ’67 Chevy Impala — has, with the help of its loyal viewing audience and fans, continued to defeat the dreaded ratings monster for 5 straight seasons and 100 episodes.

TELEVISION: American Idol Recap (04.14.10)

It’s a big night on IDOL.  TWO, yes, TWO are going home thanks to last week’s judges’ “SAVE” of Michael Lynche.  My IDOL senses tell me it’s Andrew Garcia and Aaron Kelly.  Both had weak performances last night, but my senses have been off this season.  Sigh.  Speaking of performances, IDOL mentor and runner up Adam Lambert will be performing “Whataya Want From Me” tonight.  This should be a good.  Not an Adam fan, but I love this song.  There is also a performances from former IDOL finalist Brooke White and former underwear model turned singer Justin Gaston.    So much to do, so little time, so unless you want to know what happened, STOP READING NOW.
