Check out this trailer for DC Universe Online. I’m not a fan of online only games, I’m looked at this trailer and thought – man, I wish it had a single player campaign. Rumor has it, this is going to be a big part of Sony’s Press Conference. They have been teasing this game for almost 3 years now, so I’m curious to see the finished product.

It looks like Sony’s Spider-Man reboot will be taking us to new heights.
Sony announced to day that its fourth Spider-Man film, a reboot, will be shot in 3-D to premiere on July 3, 2012. For the present, the project – to be written by Zodiac’s James Vanderbilt and directed by Days of summer’s Marc Webb – will be known only as “untitled.”
"Spider-Man is one of the most popular characters in the world, and we know audiences are eager and excited to discover Marc’s fantastic vision," said Sony’s worldwide marketing & distribution chairman Jeff Blake.
Adding fuel to the rumors of Joseph Gordon-Leavitt taking on the mantle of Peter Parker/The Amazing Spider-Man is the news that Days of Summer director Marc Webb has been signed to direct the next Spider-Man movie.
Sony’s billion-dollar Spider-Man franchise is undergoing a complete overhaul. According to deadline.com, creative differences have led to Sam Raimi pulling out of Spider-Man 4.
Now the next Spider-Man film will be written by Jamie Vanderbilt [Zodiac] and will reboot the series – taking Peter Parker back to high school, where he will be a teenager dealing with contemporary teen problems while simultaneously dealing with the problems of a neophyte superhero.
The film will have a new cast and director. A start fate for film is yet to be determined with a targeted release date of “summer 2012.”

The 2009 NCAA Football Challenge is halfway through its 19-city, three-month tour — meaning you still have time to participate and enter to win big prizes.
Look, look everyone it’s finally here! In one of the worst kept secrets of the year, the PlayStation 3 “Slim” has been made official today. Not only that but we have specs, pricing, release date and everything. The rumors from early this year were correct, but the mock-ups not so much. But despite what all the gaming press is saying, the system is NOT officially called the PlayStation Slim! Though. Here are the highlights from the press release, the console will street September 1, with a 120 GB Hard Drive for the low price of $299. If they include an HDMI cable in the box this will be a hard bargain to beat. Because, let’s face it, while I love my 360 (that I just had to replace yesterday), by the time you buy the HD, Wi-Fi cable and Sign-up for X-Box Live you are spending almost $400 anyway. This $299 price point, with these specs is what Sony should have launched with. But they couldn’t get beyond the Sony “Arrogance.” The full press release is below.
The Big News this past weekend was the leaking of info on Sony’s new PSP replacement the PSPGo. I didn’t post anything on it because, I don’t like reporting on Rumors and jumping on the Rumor bandwagon – which is why I don’t report every little thing about Apple Product or anything else, I’ve been burned by that in the past and once the Rumor spreads, I always figure what’s the point, I might as well wait until the official announcement and specs. Sony made the PSPGo official at their E3 Press Conference, here’s the official release complete with a ton of specs. Personally, I think the device looks like ugly, but that’s just me.
