Running Wild with Bear Grylls returns with a two-night premiere event – Monday, August 1st (10/9C) and Tuesday, August 2nd (10/9C) – kicking off another season of taking celebrities from different disciplines out of their comfort zones and into the wild.
I’m trying something a little new this season. Since I I can’t possibly keep up with all the emails and video clips from all the networks I’m going to try and give you all weekly sneak peaks at your favorite cable channels in one easy to use digest! President Barack Obama is set to join Bear Grylls for a trek through the Alaskan wilderness on NBC’s Running Wild with Bear Grylls. President Obama will join Grylls while visiting Alaska to observe the effects of global warming.

NBC has set August 5th as the premiere date for half-hour comedies Mr. Robinson (9/8C) and The Carmichael Show (9:30/8:30C). Returning comedy Welcome To Sweden premiere on July 19th with back-to-back eps (8/7C).
Also on the network’s summer schedule: Bear Grylls’ The Island (May 25th), I Can Do That (May 26th), Food Fighters (July 2nd), Hollywood Game Night (July 7th), Running Wild with Bear Grylls (July 13th) and Last Comic Standing (July 22nd)
Mr. Robinson stars Craig Robinson as the lead singer/keyboardist of Nasty Delicious who, when things get tight financially, finds himself taking a job as a substitute high school music teacher.
The Carmichael Show stars Jerrold Carmichael and is based on his relationships with his dad (a guy with absolutely no filters), his therapist-to-be girlfriend, his hustler brother and his very born again mother.
NBC has ordered six episodes of Bear Grylls’ new celebrities in the wild series Running Wild with Bear Grylls. Each week, Grylls will take a different celebrity into the wild for 48 hours. Celebrities set to take part are: Tom Arnold, Zac Efron, Tamron Hall, Deion Sanders, Ben Stiller and Channing Tatum.
