The animated hit series RWBY – the first western anime series to be distributed in Japan – will be developed for different formats by VIZ Media in partnership with the show’s production house, Rooster Teeth.
First up will be a manga title – slated for 2017 – that reveal more about the characters while developing new storylines.
Red vs. Blue, the longest running animated web series in history is coming to television courtesy of El Rey Network.
The series, which was inspired by the Halo video games, is the story of how two groups of soldiers battle for the least desirable piece of real estate in the known universe – a box canyon in the middle of the back end of nowhere.
The series, from the Rooster Teeth studio – which also produces action anime series RWBY and the gamer comedy The Gauntlet – will premiere on El Rey Network in December. Follow the jump for details.
