Noah Hawley’s innovative take on Marvel’s Legion has been renewed for a third season.
Sometimes you just need a little more time to tell your story – and that’s what’s happening with FX’s unique, mind-bending superhero series Legion.
Season two of the Noah Hawley drama has been extended by one episode – the new season two count is 11 episodes. For a quick look at what’s to come for the rest of the season, check out the episode loglines below.
Legion: Season Two will now have its season finale on June 12th.
The premiere season of FX’s Legion ended David Haller and his friends evicting Amahl Farouk, a powerful parasite, from his mind and body, but almost immediately thereafter, David was spirited away by a mysterious orb. Farouk fled in the body of Oliver Bird – to plot a path to infinite power.
The story will continue in Legion: Season 2 – premiering on Tuesday, April 3rd (10/9C).
When we left David Haller, he was unconscious while his girlfriend Syd Barrett and their fellow mutants – Melanie Bird and Ptonomy Wallace – had returned from their trip inside his mind with no apparent side effects.
In Chapter Four of FX’s Legion (Wednesdays, 11/10C), the search is to find David and bring him back to the ‘real’ world.
Legion (FX, Thursdays, 9/8C) is based on a mutant character from Marvel’s X-titles. In the comics, he’s the son of Professor Charles Xavier and has amazing mental abilities that he isn’t completely sure of and definitely not in complete control of.
