BOOM! Studios Announces New York Comic Con 2018 Signing Schedule!

BOOM! Studios has announced its signing schedule for New York Comic Con 2018.

Some of the talent available includes Lev Grossman (The Magicians), Steve Cardenas (former Power Rangers actor), author R.L. Stine (Goosebumps), WWE Superstar Sami Zayn and James Tynion IV (Backstagers, The Woods).

The publisher will also host four panels: Entertainment Is LGBTQ, BOOM! Studios: Discover Yours, BOOM! Box Fall Mixtape and Power Rangers: Beyond the Grid.

R.L. Stine Goes ‘Just Beyond’ for BOOM! Studios!

The partnership between BOOM! Studios and R.L. Stine will open with the first of four Just Beyond graphic novels – The Scare School.

In Just Beyond: The Scare School, three 12-year-olds in strangely old fashioned clothing have appeared in modern times, creeping through the empty halls of Scare Middle School, trying to escape a cyborg creature called a Drogg.

Just Beyond: The Scare School will be available in September 2019.

R.L. Stine Signs Original Graphic Novel Deal With BOOM! Studios!

R.L. Stine, the award-winning, bestselling horror author and creator of Goosebumps and Fear Street, has signed a multi-book original graphic novel agreement with BOOM! Studios.

Stine will produce a brand new series of four middle grade supernatural horror original graphic novels for BOOM! Studios beginning in Fall 2019.

Goosebumps – Inspired Silliness!

Goosebumps plays on the conceit that the monsters in R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps actually exist and are kept trapped in the pages of those books. Thus, when one is unlocked and opened, the monster escapes.

It’s a simple, incredibly silly premise – but those are often the best kind (Monster Squad, anyone?)
