CBS All Access has announced the premiere date oits first comedy series, No Activity.
Set against the world of a major drug cartel bust, the series follows two low-level cops who have spent far too much time in a car together; two criminals who are largely kept in the dark; two dispatch workers who haven’t really clicked; and two Mexican tunnelers who are in way too small a space considering they’ve only just met.
No Activity premieres on CBS all Access on November 12th – the same night that Star Trek: Discovery’s first chapter concludes.
Now that Star Trek: Discovery is about to launch,
CBS All Access is adding a trio of new programs to its slate of originals: Strange Angels, No Activity, and $1.
Strange angels is based on the bizarre double life of rocket scientist Jack Parson; CBS All Access’ first comedy, No Activity is a high stakes sting series set on lower levels of police and criminal elements (from Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Funny or Die), and $1 is a drama in which a one-dollar bill changing hands connects a group of characters involved in a shocking multiple murder in a small, rust belt town.
