This techno thriller follows Elliot (Rami Malek), a young programmer who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and a vigilante hacker by night. When the mysterious leader (Christian Slater) of an underground hacker group recruits him to destroy the firm he is paid to protect, he must make the decision of a lifetime. MR. ROBOT also stars Portia Doubleday (“Her”), Carly Chaikin (“Suburgatory”) and Martin Wallström (“Simple Simon”).

Hacker drama Mr. Robot (above), fresh from winning the SXSW Audience Award, will premiere on Wednesday, June 24th (10/9C).
Complications, a new fast-paced thriller about a doctor who – even as he mourns his daughter’s life – saves a young boy’ life, will make its two-hour debut on Thursday, June 18 (9/8C).
Returning shows include: the legal drama Suits’ fifth season (June 24th), season three of Chrisley Knows Best (June 2nd), season seven of Royal Pains (June 2nd), WWE Tough Enough (new format, June 23rd), season three of Graceland June 25th) and season two of Playing House (August 4th).

USA Network’s Mr. Robot is off to a great start. The show’s pilot won the Audience Award for Best Episodic at SXSW.
The show – about a young programming genius is recruited by an underground hacker group – stars Christian Slater as the titular Mr. Robot, head of the hacker group, and Rami Malek as Elliott, the recruited programming wizard.
The series goes into production on April 13th and will premiere in June.
USA Network is taking its new hacker series, Mr. Robot to SXSW. The series premiere will screen at the Austin, Texas film & arts festival on Thursday, March 17th. Series stars, including Rami Malak and Christian Slater, will be in attendance.

USA Network has given the go ahead for drama series Mr. Robot about a man with a debilitating anti-social disorder that makes possible for him to connect to people only when he’s hacking them.
Elliott (played by Rami Malek) is recruited by anarchist Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) and finds himself working with an underground hacker group.
The pilot was shot by Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo, Under The Dome). Mr. Robot will be shot in New York. for more, follow the jump.
USA Network has signed Christian Slater to play the title role in its cybercrime pilot, Mr. Robot. His character runs an underground hacker organization bent on razing corporate America.
