Coming of Age Trailer: Laggies

LAG_TeaserPoster

It seems like, more and more, there are movies devoting themselves to coming age stories about people who should have come of age a decade earlier. The latest in this odd sub-sub-genre is Laggies, about Megan, a twenty-eight year old woman who hides out in the home of Annika (Chloe Grace Moretz) a young friend for a week as she faces the drama of being a grown up – much to the confusion of Annika’s father (Sam Rockwell)..

Laggies will be in select theaters on October 24th. Check out the trailer after the jump.

Extended Trailer: Guardians of the Galaxy: 12% of a Plan!

la_ca_0421_guardians_of_the_galaxy_040

The more footage I see from Guardians of the Galaxy, the more convinced I am that Marvel got it right, big time. James Gunn really seems to have a lock on this part of the Marvel Universe (which I expected from his previous, extremely warped work). As further proof, I submit the new, extended trailer that follows the jump. I AM GROOT!

Guardians of Galaxy opens galaxy wide on August 1st (I’m with them…)

Twisted Trailer: Horrible Bosses 2!

01

In Horrible Bosses 2, Nick, Dale and Kurt – thoroughly tired of answering to higher-ups – set up their own business but get ousted by a slick investor. Once again, they see themselves as being forced to do something reprehensible to save themselves. In theory, hilarity ensues. Which it might – Jennifer Aniston is back, in full sexual predator mode; Jamie Foxx is back as the would-be advisor to the trio’s illegal activities, and even Kevin Spacey is back as one of the first movie’s titular horrible bosses.

The new trailer is promising. Very promising. Check it out after the jump. Horrible Bosses 2 will attack theaters on November 26th.
