The new TV spot for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a tad bit more dramatic than the theatrical trailers, but writer/director James Gunn’s subversive wit does add a little something extra. Check it out after the jump.
The second trailer for Paramount Pictures’ Hercules has just been released. It’s pretty cool. He still does not look scared!
Hercules also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes and John Hurt. It opens on July 25th.
Originally entitled The F Word, What If is a romantic comedy that asks the question, ‘what if being friends has its benefits’? It stars Daniel Radcliffe, Zoe Kazan, Adam Driver, Rafe Spall and Megan Park.

Michele Gondry may have peaked early with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but that doesn’t mean that each of his new films doesn’t come with an ineffable sense of joy that emanates from his whole being. Mood Indigo is a Michele Gondry romance – which means that it is one of a kind.
Mood Indigo opens in limited release on July 18th.
The one-liner for Magic in the Moonlight is, ‘A romantic comedy about an Englishman brought in to help unmask a possible swindle. Personal and professional complications ensue.’
Colin Firth plays a brilliant illusionist who is tasked with debunking Emma Stone’s apparent psychic. The trailer – following the jump – suggests he may be getting in over his head. Magic in the Moonlight opens on July 25th – but probably not wide.
Meet Hiro Hamada and his best robotic buddy, Baymax. Hiro would love to turn his soft-bodied, soft-hearted buddy into a heroic figure, but it’s not easy. As witness, check out the first trailer for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Big Hero 6 after the jump.
Based on the Marvel comic, Big Hero 6 is set to hit theaters on November 7th.
Matthew Vaughn made Mark Millar’s Kick-Ass a hit movie and gave the X-Men new life with The X-Men: First Class. Now he’s given his attention to Millar’s Secret Service comic and, with co-writer Jane Goldman (who also shared writing credit with Vaughn on Kick-Ass and Stardust), has adapted the series for film. Long story short, despite the comic’s very mixed reviews, the movie looks like great fun.

Disney has just released three clips to tease its epic new take on the sleeping beauty tale, Maleficent. The first sets up a scary misunderstanding; the second gives us a glimpse into Maleficent’s past, and the third takes us on location for a peek at how a massive battle scene was staged. Check out all three after the jump.
Maleficent opens on May 30th.
DreamWorks’ The Hundred-Foot Journey is the story of how an Indian family’s decision to open an Indian restaurant across the road from a Michelin-starred classical French restaurant affects the family’s son, the French restaurant’s proprietress, the family and the region. It’s a story about how cultures may initially clash, but a bit of insight, open-mindedness and just the right amount of spice – embodied in the Indian family’s son – can bring them together.
The Hundred-Foot Journey stars Helen Mirren, Om Puri, Manish Dayal and Charlotte Le Bon, and opens on August 8th. Check out the luscious trailer after the jump.
