Season two of the acclaimed Italian crime drama Gomorrah will have a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, April 26th.
In the first two episodes, “United States of Secondigliano/Exile” Ciro and Genny organize a meeting on neutral ground in Montenegro. Although the Savastano clan continues to stay divided, Ciro knows better than to underestimate them. Genny’s old men organize a robbery, but when things go south, he is forced to sacrifice a portion of the Savastano turf and break his father’s trust.
Italy’s most popular crime series, Gomorrah, is coming to SundanceTV. Based on the bestselling book by journalist Roberto Saviano and set in the suburbs of Naples, the series focuses on the inside story of the Camorra, the fierce Neapolitan crime organization, told through the eyes of Ciro Di Marzio (Marco D’Amore), the right hand of the clan’s godfather, Pietro Savastanno (Fortunato Cerlino).
