Ok, I was a bit skeptical about Disney’s upcoming streaming service, Disney+. I always knew it’d be a great service, but I thought they were launching it a year too early and would only have Mandalorian. and a few catalog items But man was I wrong. Seems like the entire D23 Expo was about this service and they brought the thunder in a 2 hour but they brought the thunder at this weekend’s D23 Expo.
The launch line up includes the brand new Star Wars series Mandalorian, the unfortunately named High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, a “live” action Lady and the Tramp series, a new Christmas Movie called Noelle starring Ana Kendrick, a Kristen Bell led musical reality series called Encore, and a Jeff Goldblum travel show called The World According to Jeff Goldblum. Not only do we get these original series but the entire Simpsons Catalog will be available as well as the entire catalog from Pixar and Star Wars. That’s a nice initial launch. All 23 Marvel films will NOT be available on day one. Official line up and links to trailers below!
