Julie Andrews’ new series – Julie’s Greenroom – will introduce the performing arts to kids (of all ages), as she teaches them about dance, singing, performing, painting, and more.

The Netflix series is brought to life by the geniuses at the Jim Henson Company and the first trailer looks awesome.

The curtain rises on Julie’s Greenroom on March 17th.

Julie Andrews To Do Children’s Series For Netflix!

Julie Andrews has a new series created especially to introduce children to the performing arts – Julie’s Greenroom.

Co-created by Andrews, her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton and Judy Rothman-Rofe, Julie’s Greenroom will be star Andres as Ms. Julie and Giullian Yao Gioiello as her assistant Gus. The pair will teach a diverse group of children known collectively as the Greenies (brand new puppets created by The Jim Henson Company) about all aspects of the performing arts: acting, singing, dancing, lighting – even the circus.

The Sound of Music, Appearances by Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, To Open 6th Annual TCM Classic Film Festival!

A newly restored The Sound of Music – in IMAX – will open the Sixth Annual TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood, California for the festival’s Opening Gala on Thursday, March 26th.

Stars Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer will appear live at the screening, to introduce the film with TCM Host, Robert Osborne.

The Sound of Music joins a list of restored classics that will appear during the festival’s run  – March 26-29 – including Apollo 13, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Steamboat Bill Jr.
