In season one, six of America’s brightest entertainers (The Blue Man Group, Penn and Teller, The Harlem Globetrotters, Nicole Scherzinger, Avenue Q and Snoop Dogg) came together to compete and showcase their talents with breathtaking and unique acts — featuring skills they did not even know they had.

There were no judges – an ultimate entertainer was chosen by audience vote – with Nicole Scherzinger winning the audience voting in season one.

NBC Sets Premiere Date For Mr. Robinson and The Carmichael Show!


NBC has set August 5th as the premiere date for half-hour comedies Mr. Robinson (9/8C) and The Carmichael Show (9:30/8:30C). Returning comedy Welcome To Sweden premiere on July 19th with back-to-back eps (8/7C).

Also on the network’s summer schedule: Bear Grylls’ The Island (May 25th), I Can Do That (May 26th), Food Fighters (July 2nd),  Hollywood Game Night (July 7th), Running Wild with Bear Grylls (July 13th) and Last Comic Standing (July 22nd)

Mr. Robinson stars Craig Robinson as the lead singer/keyboardist of Nasty Delicious who, when things get tight financially, finds himself taking a job as a substitute high school music teacher.

The Carmichael Show stars Jerrold Carmichael and is based on his relationships with his dad (a guy with absolutely no filters), his therapist-to-be girlfriend, his hustler brother and his very born again mother.

NBC Says I Can Do That!

NBC has ordered 6 hour-long episodes of comedy/variety series I Can Do That (working title), based on an Israeli format, to be hosted by Marlon Wayans. Celebrities participating are acclaimed dancer and choreographer Cheryl Burke, superstar recording artists Joe Jonas, Nicole Scherzinger and Ciara, national standup comedian Jeff Dye and actor Alan Ritchson.

The tag for the series is that these celebrities will be asked to ‘bravely display entertainment skills they didn’t even know they had.’
