BOOM!Studios’ WWE #14 Chronicles Rise of Asuka!

The fourteenth issue of BOOM! Studios’ hit comic WWE will the beginning of two important arcs – the Women’s Evolution arc and a four part chronicle of the rise of Japanese wrestling star Asuka, from her days at NXT to her current prominence with WWE RAW.

Written by Tini Howard and illustrated by Hyeonjin Kim, WWE #14 will be in comics shops and the BOOM! Studios webstore in February, 2018.

BOOM! Studios Names Creative Team for Kurt Sutter’s Sisters of Sorrow!

By day, Dominique, Greta, Misha, and Sarah run a nonprofit women’s shelter. At night, they each don a nun’s habit and move through Los Angeles hunting down violent abusers who have escaped justice.

Their increasingly public vigilantism has earned them the nickname Sisters of Sorrow, and has drawn the ire of L.A.’s notorious anti-crime task force.

Launching in July, Bram Stoker Award-nominated novelist Courtney Alameda (Shutter) and breakthrough artist Hyeonjin Kim join Sutter for a revenge story he describes as, “Nuns with guns.”
