Showtime is becoming the first premium service available through Hulu. The Showtime streaming service will be available through Hulu beginning in early July.
The partnership was announced today by Showtime Networks Inc. Chairman and CEO, Matthew C. Blank and Hulu CEO, Mike Hopkins.

Hulu is set to become the exclusive VOD home to popular programming from Adult Swim and Cartoon Network – as well as select shows from TNT and TBS.
The deal was announced today and includes past seasons of TNT’s The Last Ship and Murder in the First; Adult Swim’s Ric & Morty and Black Jesus and Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe and Clarence (available on Hulu Kids) . Prior seasons of Adult Swim and Cartoon Network favorites like Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Ben 10 will also be included.

Hulu has become the exclusive home of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, signing a multi-year agreement with CBS for the show’s exclusive subscription VOD rights. It’s the first time that CSI has been licensed to such a service.

Hulu has announced that it has greenlit a long-form comedy series from Rocket Jump, creators of the hit web series Video Game High School, in partnership with Lionsgate Television.
The new series will ‘expand upon the global success of Freddie Wong and RocketJump’s short films. Each half-hour episode of the series will chronicle the filmmaking behind RocketJump’s newest short. The eight full episodes will be released exclusively on Hulu on a weekly basis and the newly-created shorts will premiere exclusively on Hulu as well.’

Hulu’s scathing satire The Hotwives is coming back for a second season. The second season, The Hotwives of Las Vegas, will air in 2015!
Executive Producer Paul Steen said, “Las Vegas was an obvious choice for the second season of the Hotwives franchise because it’s a city built on broken dreams, fake boobs and a few tummy tucks. Dr. Kohout from Sydney Australia says “There is more plastic surgery on this show than there is in my office”. Season two will focus on a new crop of wannabe socialites with some new faces as well as old faces that just look new.”

Hulu has acquired exclusive streaming rights to MGM’s Emmy®-Award winning miniseries Fargo and its epic historical epic series Vikings – as well as series from MGM’s library.
Season One and Two of Vikings are now streaming on Hulu. Fargo’s first season will debut on the service in 2015.

Difficult People has been given an eight episode straight-to-series order by HULU. The series – co-starring Billy Eichner (pictured) and Julie Klausener (who also wrote the pilot and will serve as an executive producer) – is about best friends whose typically irreverent behaviour keeps putting them in awkward situation.
The series is being produced by Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions. Poehler and Dave Becky are executive producing. Difficult People will go into production in early 2015.

Hulu has announced a straight-to-series order of ten episodes for Casual, a comedy series, to be Executive Produced and Directed by Jason Reitman (Juno, Up In The Air, Young Adult). The series centers on a dysfunctional family in which a bachelor brother and a recently-divorced sister coach each other on dating – after they’ve both moved home, like teenagers.
