Bradley Cooper IS Rocket Raccoon!

Bradley Cooper has finalized a deal to voice Rocket Raccoon in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie. The news was made public on the Marvel website late this afternoon.

Guardians of the Galaxy may be Marvel Entertainment’s riskiest project so far, but it has recruited a terrific cast that includes Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation), Zoe Saldana (Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness), Karen Gillan (Doctor Who), Benicio Del Toro (Che, Snatch, Savages), Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead), Djimon Hounsou (Alias, The Tempest), Glenn Close (Damages, The Shield) and John C. Reilly (Magnolia, Talledega Nights, Wreck-It Ralph).

Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn (Slither, Super) and opens on August 1, 2014. Follow the jump for the official news release.
