After being diagnosed with serious health issues, ex-cop Rose Jones (Cybill Shepherd), goes on a road trip in a wheelchair to search for her estranged son. Along the way, she falls in love with Max (James Brolin), a handsome old cowboy, who has come to a crossroads of his own.
Estranged brother and sister, Marcus and Michelle Brinks (Scott Rodgers and Kristin Slaysman) reunite after the sudden death of their parents, a saintly pair of doctors-without-borders they barely knew and never liked. The homecoming goes haywire when the siblings choose to revel in dysfunction rather than face the grief of losing a family they thought they didn’t need.

Nope, this story is about Philadelphia soccer fans who took it upon themselves to pressure Major League Soccer (MLS) into granting the city of Philadelphia a franchise (when the league was formed, Philly, the 4th largest market in the U.S. was left out) – in a stadium in a poverty-stricken area of town; during a one of the worst financial crises in the city’s history.
