Fox’s Touch [Thursdays, 9/8C] is a series that explores the interconnectedness of everyone and everything in the world through the story of Martin Bohm [Kiefer Sutherland], a single father and his silent, genius son, Jake [David Mazouz]. Helping him to understand how to communicate with his son is retired university professor, Arthur Teller [Danny Glover].

Danny glover recently took a few minutes out if his busy schedule to discuss the themes of the show and Teller’s part in Martin and Jake’s journey.

Fox is tweaking their mid-season schedule. Touch moves from Monday following House at 9/8C, to Thursday following American Idol, while Bones from Thursday following American Idol to Mondays at 8/7C, leading in to House [which drops from the 8/7C pm slot to 9/8C]. The net is also planning a House retrospective to kickoff the two-hour House series finale event on May 21st, and a special event to celebrate Fox’s 25th Anniversary.

Fringe: Answers Are Coming!

Nigel Lythgoe, creator and executive producer of American Idol [Fox, Wednesdays/Thursdays, 8/7C], finds himself amused and baffled by talk of the show’s ratings slippage – a subject he was happy to fold forth on when he spoke with a group of journalists/bloggers last week.

He was also willing to talk about the competition, why he thinks Idol is still the top singing competition series on television and his hope that Ryan Seacrest will stay with the show in seasons to come.
