Only three more sleeps until Netflix premieres the 13-episode first season of Marvel’s Daredevil – The Man Without Fear.

Marvel’s Daredevil is one of the best known properties of the street level heroes and will be the the first of four epic live-action adventure series (Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Iron Fist, and Marvel’s Luke Cage, all leading up to the teaming of the main characters in Marvel’s The Defenders) that delves into the backstory of how Matt Murdock evolves into Daredevil.
Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Rosario Dawson are just a few of the stars featured in MARVEL’S DAREDEVIL premiering with thirteen (13) one-hour episodes on April 10, 2015 at 12:01 AM PT in all territories where Netflix is available.
Netflix’s Daredevil has cast another key role – Matt Murdock’s best friend ever since they met on the first day of college: Foggy Nelson. Nelson will be played by Elden Henson, who will be featured in the upcoming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.
Foggy and Matt are partners in the Nelson & Murdock law firm and Foggy’s fierce commitment to the community rivals Matt’s own. Henson joins a cast that includes Charlie cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and Rosario Dawson. For more details, follow the jump.
Netflix’s upcoming Daredevil series is building an impressive cast. Marvel.com announced today that Rosario Dawson will guest-star in the series as a young woman in Hell’s Kitchen whose activism brings her into the life of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox, Stradust, Boardwalk Empire).
Ten days ago, Marvel announced the casting of Vincent D’Onofrio (Men in Black, Law & Order: Criminal Intent) as Wilson Fisk, better known as The Kingpin – a businessman who secretly controls a large part of the crime in New York City. For more, check out the official statement after the jump.
Disney’s Marvel and Netflix are going to Hell’s Kitchen for four series to be based on Marvel superhero characters – Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. All four series will be live-action and are planned to run in 2015 – leading into a miniseries event, The Defenders.

Daredevil has been through some stuff in the last few years and it’s all coming to a head in Marvel’s upcoming Daredevil centric event – Shadowlands. Marvel sent over this teaser of Daredevil killing his nemesis Bullseye with the caption “The Birth of Marvels Greatest Villain.” Hmmmm…..
