TBS will bring SXSW the best in tech, fashion, design, music and more with the second iteration of “In Search Of” — a pop-up, interactive marketplace with an Austin-flare, bringing to life the network’s buzzworthy hit, SEARCH PARTY.
Inside “In Search Of,” visitors will experience the ideal shop for SEARCH PARTY’s leading lady Dory, complete with the latest in fashion, technology, and artisanal goods, as well as a lounge space to kick back with friends and binge the first season.
In Search Of will be open to festival goers for three days – beginning at noon on Tuesday, March 14th.
Today at Star Wars Celebration Europe, Alden Ehrenreich was introduced to fans for the first time as Han Solo, the new star of the untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story at the Future Filmmaker Panel. The panel featured Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy (Producer) and Kiri Hart (Senior Vice President of Development), who were joined by director Rian Johnson (Star Wars: Episode VIII) and directing duo Chris Miller and Phil Lord (the untitled Han Solo Star Wars story). Hosted by Lucasfilm Story Group’s Pablo Hidalgo, the filmmakers were joined by surprise guests John Boyega (Finn), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Carrie Fisher (General Leia Organa) from Star Wars: Episode VIII.
One area of Japanese culture that gets overlooked by a lot of J-Pop fans is fashion.
The 2016 J-POP Summit is celebrating Harajuku and Kawaii fashion with a showcase of inspired Japanese fashion at this year’s festival. Brands like 6%DOKIDOKI, Sou-Sou and AOI Clothing will be found the Summit’s Moshi Moshi Nippon area.
Sebastian Masuda, art director and an extremely influential artist for Harajuku kawaii culture will be returning as a Guest of Honor and rising pop star and fashion model UNA will give a special live performance.

J-Pop Summit 2016 has announced its ticket options and V.I.P. Packages for the three-day festival which opens on Friday, May 6th.
This year, packages will be available offering ticket options to attend the Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Opening Night concert as well as multi-day V.I.P. options for Fort Mason; 1 and 2-Day Festival Passes; Kids’ Passes, and Artist Meet & Greet Packages.
J-Pop Summit 2016 has released the first line-up of live acts to set to play at this year’s festival: electronic dance performance group World Order; all-female pop-rockers Silent Siren; Wednesday Campanella (pictured) – a pop house unit that delivers a mixture of house, techno, and trance style music, and Japanese ani-pop duo GARNiDELiA.

One of the world’s largest Japanese pop culture events, J-Pop 2016 will be opened by Japan’s edgy pop princess, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu at a special live concert performance on Friday July 22nd.
The event will take place in San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom and will kick off a week long celebration of Japanese pop culture. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 6th. Follow the jump for details.
San Francisco’s 2016 J-Pop Summit will once again be held at the historic Fort Mason center.
The annual celebration of Japanese pop culture music, art, anime, fashion (above), food, technology, travel and film transitioned into a ticketed event this year and attracted more than 30,000 attendees to its first Festival staged at the center.
The 2016 J-Pop Summit will be held the weekend of Friday, July 22nd through Sunday, July 24th. For more, follow the jump.
TNT & TBS are bringing stars from five of their most anticipated upcoming shows to New York Comic Con 2015 in October.
Sean Bean (Legends); Rashida Jones, Jere Burns and Andree Vermeulen (Angie Tribeca); Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, John Kim, Lindy Booth, John Larroquette (The Librarians), Jason Jones, also executive producer (The Detour) and Jeff Hephner (Agent X) will all be attending to take part in panels and sneak peeks.
Also in attendance for the panel discussions will be a number of executive producers: Ken Biller (Legends), John Rogers (The Librarians), Samantha Bee (The Detour) and Ira Ungerlieder (Angie Tribeca). Follow the jump for details.
New York Comic Con 2015 runs from October 8th-11th.
fhána – a J-pop group that has been featured in amine series like Celestial Method, Witch Craft Works and Prisma Illya – will perform at the upcoming Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) convention.
The group – consisting of three music producers/compers and a female vocalist – will perform in concert Friday, September 26th, and will also perform during the convention’s opening ceremonies on the 25th.
Gacharic Spin – an all-girl pop/rock band with influences ranging from dance and pop to rock and industrial – will be appearing for a special concert performance at the 2015 J-Pop Summit on Saturday, August 8th.
