Comic-Con 2016: New Trek Series Gets Title/Ship Name and Test Flight!

CBS All Access unveiled the ship at the heart of the new Star Trek series: the U.S.S. Discovery – which will also figure in the title of the series – Star Trek Discovery.

Besides these revelations, Executive Producer Bryan Fuller also premiered a look at the U.S.S. Discovery’s test flight – which you can watch by following the jump.

It’s Not Dead, Jim! New Star Trek Series Coming!

CBS Television Studios are releasing a new Star Trek series in January, 2017. The series, which will be produced by Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness) will executive produce the series.

CBS Studios International will distribute the series globally for television and multiple platforms. The series premiere will air on CBS – then the the premiere and all subsequent episodes will stream exclusively on on CBS All Access in the U.S.

CBS Brings CBS All Access To Windows 10!

CBS All Access is now available for users of Windows 10 desktop and tablet devices through the CBS app.

The CBS All Access subscription service makes current primetime, daytime and late night programming available – as well as thousands of of episodes from CBS’ library and live streaming of CBS in over 95 markets. For further details, follow the jump.

Cablevision and CBS Announce Comprehensive Content Carriage Agreement!

Cablevision is the first CBS Distribution Partner to announce plans to carry CBS All Access and Showtime Internet Services. The renewal of the CBS/Cablevision partnership also includes CBS-owned, showtime, CBS Sports Network and Smithsonian Channel.

CBS Takes CBS All Access To Roku!

CBS has made its CBS All Access service available through Roku. For the monthly fee of $5.99, Roku users can access complete seasons of current CBS series, leading day and late night programming, thousands of episodes from CBS’ library of classics, and live streaming of local CBS stations in some markets.
