Hulu has announced its 2017 Summer Slate, with two returning series – Casual and Difficult People – and three documentaries – Batman and Bill (the story of how Batman’s other creator gained official co-creator status); Becoming Bond (the story of George Lazenby became the one-hit wonder of the Bond films), and Dumb: The Story of Big Brother Magazine (the rise and fall of the original series that spawned the likes of Jackass).
Hulu’s Summer 2016 Slate is composed of three returning shows – all critically acclaimed; all very different: Casual (June 7th), Difficult People (July 12th) and East Los High (July 15th).

Hulu has announced a second season for its new series Casual.
The series deals with a dysfunctional family in which bachelor brother Alex and newly divorced sister Valerie try to coach each other through the crazy world of on-and-offline dating.
Hulu continues rolling out first season episodes on Wednesdays, with today’s fourth episode in which Alex returns to work to work for the first time in weeks, while Valerie breaks one of his cardinal rules of dating. For more, follow the jump.
Hulu has announced a straight-to-series order of ten episodes for Casual, a comedy series, to be Executive Produced and Directed by Jason Reitman (Juno, Up In The Air, Young Adult). The series centers on a dysfunctional family in which a bachelor brother and a recently-divorced sister coach each other on dating – after they’ve both moved home, like teenagers.
