It would seem that Bright is going to be a genuinely big action-fantasy film.
Don’t take my word for it – director David Ayer and the film’s stars – including Will Smith, Joel Edgerton and Noomi Rapace – talk about Bright’s action sequences (and there’s plenty of new footage, to boot).
Bright premieres globally on Netflix on Friday, December 22nd.
Atlantic Records and Netflix have teamed up to bring the newest music video from Bright: The Album into homes this Thanksgiving Day. Home, by the incomparable trio of Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors & Bebe Rexha, is now a heart-warming video directed by acclaimed Bright director David Ayer (Fury, Suicide Squad, End of Watch, Training Day). The official video for “Home” makes its debut today on Netflix as part of the anthology Bright: The Music Videos.
Bright follows the story of two LAPD police officers played by Will Smith (Officer Ward) and Joel Edgerton (Officer Jakoby) who form a most unlikely duo working to keep the mean streets of Los Angeles safe from a sinister underworld filled with gang violence and dark forces at work.
Bright will be available in select theaters and on Netflix starting December 22nd, 2017.
It’s a world just like ours – only with orcs and elves (and magic, obviously).
When the mystical equivalent of a nuclear weapon – a magic wand – is discovered, it falls to Officers Daryl Ward (Will Smith) and Nick Jakoby (Joel Edgerton) – the first orc in the LAPD – to deal with the situation.
In a new featurette, Smith and Edgerton discuss their characters and the world they live in.
Bright premieres globally on Netflix on December 22nd.
