So, that’s happening – fifteen country music acts – including Big & Rich, Darius Rucker, LeAnn Rimes, The Mavericks and Rascal Flatts – will cover Mötley Crüe tunes for the upcoming album, Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Mötley Crüe. Fifteen of the Crüe’s biggest hits – including Kickstart My Heart (Rascal Flatts), If I Die Tomorrow (Florida Georgia Line), Smokin’ in the Boys’ Room (LeAnn Rimes) and Dr. Feelgood (The Mavericks) – will be presented in nifty new arrangements.
Of the album, bassist Nikki Six said, ‘We did not make this record for Mötley Crüe fans, but for Country fans who are also Rock fans.’ The album is a co-production between Big Machine Records, Mötley Records and Eleven Seven Music and will be stores on July 8th.
