The first trailer for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice was ponderous, portentous and pretentious. It really worried me. Then the succeeding trailers told us that we were getting Lex Luthor and Doomsday in the same movie – on top of adding the introduction of Wonder Woman. That seemed like an awful lot of apples to put in one basket – but there’s actually more than that in the movie.
Surprisingly, it’s pretty good.

During Super Bowl 50, Warner Bros. aired two spots that give a PR spin on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with ads for Turkish Airlines adding two new destinations to its schedule – Gotham City (with billionaire Bruce Wayne talking up Gotham) and Metropolis (with billionaire Lex Luthor inviting tourists to visit).

Jesus, this new Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice clip looks like utter garbage. However, I’m going on the assumption that this is just a swerve and some sort of nightmare that eventually leads Bruce to seeing Superman as some sort of demigod that must be stopped. But still the marketing on this movie is god awful. The first trailer was terrible, then they show us this. A full second trailer is going to be released later this week. Let’s see how that one goes.
