LOVE, THE COOPERS

While, technically, summer doesn’t end until September 21st, for the movie season, it’s over on the Labor Day weekend. Even then, a trailer for a Christmas movie seems just a touch early – especially when the narrator suggests that Christmas is that magical time when families all gather together to give thanks… that it only comes once a year.

Love the Coopers has a star-studded cast – John Goodman, Diane Keaton, Olivia Wilde, Ed Helms, Marisa Tomei, Alan Arkin, Anthony Mackie, June Squibb, Amanda Seyfried – and comes from the producer of The Family Stone. Check out the trailer after the jump.

Love The Coopers follows the Cooper clan as four generations of extended family come together for their annual Christmas Eve celebration. As the evening unfolds, a series of unexpected visitors and unlikely events turn the night upside down, leading them all toward a surprising rediscovery of family bonds and the spirit of the holiday.
