Perfect Square Releases Supernatural Comedy Manga Yo-kai Watch!

New Manga Series About A Boy That Can See Yo-kai Is Based On LEVEL-5s Smash Hit Property 

San Francisco, CA, November 3, 2015 VIZ Media, LLC (VIZ Media), the largest publisher, distributor and licensor of manga and anime in North America, launches a brand new manga (graphic novel) series today with the release of YO-KAI WATCH Volumes 1 and 2.

The supernatural comedy adventure series by Noriyuki Konishi is inspired by the smash hit YO-KAI WATCH video game, developed by LEVEL-5 for the Nintendo 3DS, and rated ‘A’ for All Ages. YO-KAI WATCH, Vols. 1 and 2 will each carry a print MSRP of $9.99 U.S. / $12.99 CAN.

Yo-kai, inspired by the yokai of Japanese folklore, can’t be seen by the human eye, unless you have a specially designed Yo-kai Watch!

In the YO-KAI WATCH manga series, Nate Adams, an average kid, who once armed with the Yo-kai Watch, can see all kinds of Yo-kai that no one else can. He instantly begins collecting new invisible friends and embarks on supernatural adventures!

YO-KAI WATCH manga artist Noriyuki Konishi hails from Shimabara City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. He debuted in 1997 with the one-shot title, E-CUFF, which appeared in Monthly Shonen Jump Original. He is also known for manga adaptations of AM Driver and Mushiking: King of the Beetles, along with Saiyuki Hiro Go-KDen!Ch?henshin Gag Gaiden!! Card Warrior Kamen Riders, and Go-Go-Go Saiyuki: Shin Gok?den.
