Here’s a movie that I find intriguing, Young Victoria. I love a good costume drama, so this movie about Queen Victoria when she was young sounds interesting. It opened in limited release last weekend and is expanding over the next few weeks. It’s been getting a lot of good buzz. Check out the trailer after the break.
i saw this and it was really good. it gives understanding and depicts a little of what goes on behind closed doors in the life of royalty. a great storyline, beautiful costumes, the actors were all good in their own rights, and a beautiful love story between queen victoria and prince albert. the movie is supposed to be pretty accurate to their actual lives and her reign. the buzz it’s getting is right on point.
“The Young Victoria” provides a look at the complications of royalty. A fine film with good performances. Emily Blunt is likely to receive a variety of awards for her portrayal of Queen Victoria of England prior to and then
following her coronation. If you enjoy costume dramas, then this is one to definitely see on the big screen.
