The Fox Searchlight’s The Descendants wrapped production on 6.1.10  The Descendants, directed by Alexander Payne, is a dramedy starring George Clooney as a land-rich descendant of Hawaiian royalty who travels with his two rebellious daughters to track down his wife’s lover.

While this is mainly a rundown of current movies in production, being an avid viewer of almost any kind of television series that has a horror movie type bent to it, I had to add in this little gem that I am really excited about.

Beginning on 6.2.10 AMC went into production with a new television drama series The Walking Dead, which stars Andrew Lincoln as a police officer who leads a group of survivors in search of a safehouse following a zombie apocalypse.

Zombie apocalypse—oh yea I am going to be so there to watch this!
