For you non DC Area readers Wolf Trap is an Outdoor theater that’s in the suburbs of DC. They usually have a pretty robust line up of summer talent as diverse as Broadway touring productions to performances by the likes of Frankie Valli, The B-52s, and Symphony Orchestras. I personally have never been there, I’m not a huge fan of the outdoor concert. This summer I thought I’d reach out to the folks at Wolf Trap (it is both an Indoor/Outdoor theater) and see what the experience is like. This will be a semi weekly column about my Wolf Trap Experience and previewing some upcoming shows. They have a pretty interesting line up this summer and I look forward to doing some sampling. Two upcoming shows include Franki Valli and The Four Seasons, July 15th, 8pm and the Broadway show Legally Blonde, August 12 – 15th.
Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, July 15th, 8pm
I didn’t know anything about Frankie Valli until I saw Jersey Boys in Vegas last year. Absolutely amazing show, now here’s a chance to see the original in his “old” glory, this should be an amazing show. I don’t know if this includes the original Four Seasons.
Legally Blonde, August 12 – 15th (check listing for time)
Don’t miss sorority star Elle Woods take Harvard by storm in this musical revamp of the hit movie that highlights friendship, confidence, and romance without losing style. Based on the hit movie, comes the Broadway show.
