I have a feeling the Chamber of Secrets will be a let down. I read the book recently and it’s pretty good, but the one thing that stops it from being really good is Dobby – The House Elf. He is so annoying, and I fear he’ll be really annoying in the movie, along the lines of Jar Jar and TPM. And the whole whomping willow strikes me as being ok in the book, but will look really stupid, like a high tech version of H.R. Puffinstuff tree.
It just strikes me that at the beginning of the film it’s going to be way too kiddy oriented for my tastes.
