Ben Affleck’s third film as a director, Argo, is based on the true story of how an imaginative CIA Agent [played by Affleck in the film] saved the lives of half-a-dozen employees of the American embassy in Iran in the ‘70s by persuading the the Iranian government they were part of a Canadian film crew shooting a science-fantasy movie called Argo.
