I’ll admit it, I don’t get the Ed Sheeran thing, but we’re hosting the live stream of tonight’s Album Release Party! Clear Channel will host the “Pepsi Presents iHeartRadio Album Release Party with Ed Sheeran” from the iHeartRadio Theater Los Angeles.  The event will bring Pepsi and Ed Sheeran fans a first listen of the global superstar’s new album, “x,” (pronounced ‘multiply’) set to be released the same day – Monday June 23. The event starts tonight at 9pm EST, that’s 6pm for you West Coasters.

As part of Pepsi’s culture of bringing music fans closer to their favorite artists, the event will feature a live performance and Q&A with the three-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, discussing his second studio album, hosted by on-air talent and TV personality Mario Lopez.

Pepsi and Clear Channel will also share a sneak peak into the 2014 iHeartRadio Music Festival lineup — announcing Ed Sheeran as the first released performer.

Yahoo Screen (www.screen.yahoo.com/iheart) will exclusively live stream the full event. It will also broadcast on-air as a 30-minute special across Clear Channel Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR) and Hot-AC stations, with a 60-minute stream online across station websites and iHeartRadio.com.
