Viral Remote “Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and Conan Help A Student Driver” Generates More Than 26 Million Views to Become the Show’s Most-Watched Clip Ever

Five years after TBS’s CONAN began revolutionizing late-night television by harnessing the power of digital, mobile and social media, Conan O’Brien and Team Coco continue to build on the show’s commanding online presence. Among several new milestones reached this month, the Team Coco YouTube Channel has surpassed 2 billion video views, with fans clocking more than 6.2 billion minutes of viewing time. The channel, which features clips from current and past episodes of CONAN, along with online-exclusive music and comedy, has grown its fan base, as well, climbing to more than 3.5 million subscribers.

In addition to the overall success of its YouTube channel, CONAN is reaching new heights with its popular video remotes. The critically acclaimed “Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and Conan Help a Student Driver” segment, has generated more than 26 million video views on YouTube and the Team Coco website since debuting Jan. 5, making it the most watched clip in the history of CONAN on TBS. The remote features the stars of Universal Pictures’ Ride Along 2, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart.

Conan O’Brien and Team Coco continue to be a major force in social media, as well, collectively drawing more than 19.5 million Twitter followers and 2.7 million Facebook fans.

CONAN ‘s online achievements come as the show continues to draw the youngest audience of any of its hour-long competitors in late night. CONAN is also enjoying a growth trend in traditional television ratings, including an +8% increase among adults 18-49 in December (vs. November) and a +5% lift in January (vs. December). In addition, CONAN has seen ratings spikes over the past year for its special road trip episodes, the latest of which – Mission CONAN, featuring O’Brien and First Lady Michelle Obama on their recent trip to Qatar– premieres tonight.

CONAN airs Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m. (ET/PT) on TBS. The show is produced by Conaco LLC, with Jeff Ross serving as executive producer.
