NAB To Induct Wheel of Fortune and Jeopary into Broadcasting Hall of Fame!

The National Broadcasters of America will induct Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy into the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Broadcasting Hall of Fame at the new 2018 NAB Show Achievement in Broadcasting Dinner on Monday, April 9 in Las Vegas.

The long-running game shows (Wheel of Fortune 35 years; Jeopardy 34 years) ‘have stood the test of time and represent the enduring power of broadcasting,’ NAB Executive Vice President of Television Marcellus Alexander.

The Danger of Living Too Many Lives Trailer: Altered Carbon!

Based on the classic cyberpunk noir novel by Richard K. Morgan, Altered Carbon is an intriguing story of murder, love, sex, and betrayal, set more than 300 years in the future – when a wealthy, lived man hires a soldier – who’s been ‘on ice’ for a long time – to investigate his murder.

Altered Carbon premieres on Netflix on February 2, 2018.

The 40th Annual Kennedy Centers Honors will salute a group of renowned artists that include: LL Cool J, Lionel Ritchie, Carman de Lavallade, Norman Lear and Gloria Estefan.

Presenters/Performers include: Stevie Wonder, Jon Secada, Rachel Bloom, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels, Meryl Streep, Eva Longoria and more.

The debut of new drama Instinct, new comedy Living Biblically, the celebrity edition of Big Brother and the return of The Amazing Race lead CBS’ winter programming slate.

Instinct stars Alan Cumming as university professor who used to be a CIA operative who is persuaded to help Detective Lizzie Needham catch a serial killer.

Living Biblically follows a guy who, at the crossroads of his life decides to see if living strictly by the Bible can help him his correct path.

The Newspaperman: The Life and Times of Ben Bradlee – The Pentagon Papers, Watergate and More!

Directed by John Maggio, the film is an intimate journey through the remarkable life of Washington Post executive editor Ben Bradlee, one of the country’s most “dangerous editors,” and the man largely credited with taking down President Richard Nixon in 1974 after the Post broke the Watergate story, the largest political scandal in American history.

Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy Adds Five to Cast!

The Netflix original series The Umbrella Academy is adding more members. Based on the popular, Eisner award-winning comics and graphic novels created and written by Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), illustrated by Gabriel Bá, and published by Dark Horse Comics, the series is adding cast members Tom Hopper as “Luther,” Emmy Raver-Lampman as “Allison,” David Castañeda as “Diego,” Robert Sheehan as “Klaus,” and Aidan Gallagher as “Number Five.”

The Umbrella Academy’s premiere date is TBD.
