Score another win for CBS – NCIS was named the most watched drama series, worldwide. The series, now about to enter its 15th season, was honored with the International TV Audience Award at the Monte Carlo Television Festival.
CBS has announced its renewal of its entire daytime lineup: The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, Let’s Make a Deal, The Price Is Right and The Talk.
The Young and the Restless was given a three-season order and The Price Is Right was renewed for two seasons.
Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie) is an out of work actor who wants a role where she’s not serving the cause of a man. She answers an ad in the newspaper and finds herself auditioning to play a wrestler on television.
Netflix has just released a behind the scenes featurette with the cast and creators of GLOW talking about the show.

CBS Access has announced that Star Trek: Discovery will launch on CBS on Sunday, September 24th (8:30/7:30C). Subsequent episodes will be released exclusively on CBS All Access on succeeding Sundays.
The two-hour series premiere will be available on CBS All Access immediately following its CBS screening.
The fifteen-episode first season will be divided into two chapters: the first eight episodes will run from Sunday, September 24th through Sunday, November 5th; the second chapter will begin in January, 2018.
Sean Bean has signed on to play Tom Hammond in The Oath – a gritty, action-packed drama that explores the world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join.
Crackle’s The Oath will premiere in 2018.
The 14th season of The X Factor UK will be returning to AXS TV this Fall.
