San Francisco’s 2016 J-Pop Summit will once again be held at the historic Fort Mason center.
The annual celebration of Japanese pop culture music, art, anime, fashion (above), food, technology, travel and film transitioned into a ticketed event this year and attracted more than 30,000 attendees to its first Festival staged at the center.
The 2016 J-Pop Summit will be held the weekend of Friday, July 22nd through Sunday, July 24th. For more, follow the jump.

TNT hit New York Comic-Con 2015 this week with three of its fall shows. On Thursday, Sean Bean and executive producer Ken Biller screened the first episode of the completely reimagined spy thriller Legends. On Friday, Rebecca Romijn and the cast of The Librarians took the stage with executive producer Dean Devlin to talk about the second season of the blockbuster hit. And Jeff Hephner popped in to introduce and sneak peek of TNT’s spy drama Agent X (above).

Dark Horse Comics has announced a new Tomb Raider series by award-winning writer Mariko Tamaki (This One Summer). The new series will debut in February, 2016. Follow the jump for more.
In 2000, Dark Horse Comics brought Lone Wolf & Cub back to North America after its original American publisher went out of business.
The classic manga series followed the exploits of samurai Lone Wolf and Cub – Ogami Itt? and his infant son Daiguro – as Lone Wolf and Cub – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Itt? sought vengeance for the death of his wife.
In Lone Wolf 2100, Eric Heisserer (Shaper) and artist Miguel Sepulveda (Red Lanterns, Action Comics) reimagine the series in a time when a plague has devastated the planet and only the blood of young Daisy Ogami holds the secret ofr a cure – and her android protector, Itto, must get her to a place where it can be extracted.

Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto and Sailor Moon giveaways highlight VIZ Media’s plans for the 2015 New York Comic Con.
In Kishimoto’s first North American visit, he will participate in a panel discussion about his classic manga series and his evolution as a manga artist. He will also introduce a screening of Boruto: Naruto The Movie.
Sailor Moon panel will bring fans up to date on all the news regarding the franchise – including the scoop on the new Sailor Moon Crystal series. Fans can also visit the VIZ Media booth for a chance to win exclusive Sailor Moon promotional product.
