Breaking Bad’s R.J. Mitte to Recur on Switched at Birth!

What do you do next if you’ve just wrapped the last season of one of the darkest, greatest television series ever made? If you’re R.J. Mitte, you do something completely different, tonally. Mitte has just signed on as a recurring guest-star on ABC Family’s Switched at Birth. You can’t get much different – on every level – than that!

Mitte will play Campbell, a pre-med college student paralyzed by a snowboarding accident who works in the free clinic with Daphne, played by series star Katie LeClerc. Season Three of Switched at Birth returns in January, 2014. The press release follows the jump.

SEASON THREE OF “SWITCHED AT BIRTH” WILL PREMIERE IN JANUARY 2014

Burbank, CA (October 4, 2013) – ABC Family has cast RJ Mitte (“Breaking Bad”) in a recurring role on the Peabody Award winning drama, “Switched at Birth,” which returns with season three in January 2014.

RJ will play Campbell, a pre-med college student paralyzed by a snowboarding accident who works in the free clinic with Daphne, played by series star Katie LeClerc.
