Awards Season Confusion V: San Francisco Critics Circle Names Tree of Life Best Film, Terrence Malik Best Director!

Another day, another choice. The San Francisco Critics Circle have announced their awards for excellence in film for 2011. Terrence Malik’s Tree of Life took Best Film while Malik claimed the award for Best Director.

Further adding to awards season confusion, the SFCC named Gary Oldman Best Actor for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and We Need To Talk About Kevin’s Tilda Swinson Best Actress.
