As many of you know, I have a love/hate relationship with The 100. When its good, its REALLY good and one of my favorite shows on TV, when its bad its really bad. I promised I wouldn’t watch or cover season five, but once again I’m hooked and loving all the non-Octavia moments this season.

Episode 5 looks like another solid installment. Hit the jump for lots of photos and clips for this week’s episode! Omar Madha directed the episode written by Nick Bragg (#505). Original airdate 5/22/2018.

The 100 Returns to Vex Michelle with a Stunning Season Premiere!

What up people! The show that vexes me to no end, The 100 returns to The CW for its 5th outing this week and I have to say the first episode of season 5 made me remember why I used to adore this show. Unfortunately, after the greatness that is episode 1, episode 2 brought me crashing down to earth (see what I did?) and reminded me why the show drives me NUTS. I won’t bore you with the Tedious Plot Summary (TPS) because if you are watching S5, you know the characters already. This review is based on the first 4 episodes and contains minor spoilers. The 100 returns to The CW Network, Tuesday, April 24th.

Famous In Love, Freeform’s Hollywood Fable Returns for S2! Michelle’s Review

FAMOUS IN LOVE – Freeform’s “Famous in Love” stars Charlie DePew as Jake, Georgie Flores as Cassandra, Bella Thorne as August, Niki Koss as Alexis, Keith Powers as Jordan, Carter Jenkins as Rainer, Pepi Sonuga as Tangey and Perrey Reeves as Nina. (Freeform/Nino Munoz)

I don’t talk enough about my love of Freeform  (formally ABC Family) – still hate the name change, because I suck and am lazy. It’s my go to channel whenever I want to watch something that’s non-fantasy or super hero related. Well, FreeForm and Investigation Discovery.  One of my obsessions last year was FreeForm’s “fantasy” drama Famous in Love. Famous in Love Season 2 returns Wednesday, April 3.

Ready Player One – Visual Flair can’t disguise an Empty Experience

A scene from Warner Bros. Pictures’, Amblin Entertainment’s and Village Roadshow Pictures’ action adventure “READY PLAYER ONE,” a Warner Bros. Pictures release. Courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures

I’ve never read the book for Ready Player One, so feel free to stop reading this review now.  Still here? Good. The great Steven Spielberg has crafted one of his worst films ever. With that said, even a bad Spielberg film is well worth watching. Ok, not A.I. Artificial Intelligence that movie is unwatchable.  All I knew about this film was to expect visual eye-candy and the movie delivers in spades. This movie is basically a live action Wreck It Ralph without that horrible middle.

News from DC’s Wondercon Publisher Panel – Sandman Universe, new Justice League and Teen Titans!

Yesterday, DC Universe held their first ever live stream from Wondercon. I wish more companies would stream their panels, makes my life so much easier! Stream gave us lots of interesting tidbits on the brand new Sandman Universe, new Justice League and Teen Titan books and we found out that the Joker is not going to be happy about Batman’s upcoming nuptials. Honestly, I’m sick to death of the Joker and have no desire to read that one. Batman Metal will also conclude this week and will have big repercussions throughout the Universe. Check out the full press release.

Wondercon – DC Comics Panel Live Stream!!!

I wish more companies would stream their convention panels. For the first time ever, the folks at DC Comics are streaming their popular DC Comics Publishers panel hosted by Jim Lee and Dan DiDio and will feature lots of awesome guests. The panel will stream Saturday, March 24 at 10:00 am PT on the DC YouTube channel  and DC Comics Facebook page.

Krypton is the best thing SyFy has done in years. Yes, even better than the Expanse. This is high praise coming from someone who generally claims not to like sequels, while not so secretly I do. Krypton, the 10 episode Maxi series, debuts on SyFy channel this week, Wednesday, March 21, 2018. There’s something about this show that sucked me in almost instantly.
